Overall, it’s a very nice retro style clockradioalarm. The speaker sounds decent enough for what it is and connectivity to Bluetooth is easy and seamless. Once set, time stays accurate, and while it doesn’t specifically state, it seems to have some sort of battery back-up as time stayed accurate during a power outage. Only knock is that the radio tuning is not selectable to a specific frequency- it runs a scan at 1st use and then you scroll through a memory of “found” stations to tune in. If you place it in a spot with bad reception, you have to move it, plug it back in, and scan all over again. The microphone on my android phone and my iPad is on the top, not the bottom and then following the video I tried to make it work from the bottom and it was never going to work, also, you have to make sure your volume is way up and then there is no issue setting anything on this clock alarm clock. I am also going to write to the company and apologize because it was my mistake not theirs if you want a really beautiful thing by your bedside to make you smile every day this is well worth the money , but I am only giving it four stars because they do give you video guidance setting up the app but show the phone they are using w microphone on bottom. One note for potential buyers: the front, top and sides of the "black" clock are actually wood-grained charcoal grey plastic. Only the back is black. I will keep it because the clock's size, design and functionality were my priorities.
