It arrived packed very well to prevent damage in transit. The size I ordered is large so glass wasn't an option (wish it was) but the plexiglass came with a covering on each side to keep it safe. I am extremely pleased with this set. Somehow I missed the memo that they are 2 different sizes, but no matter (for 5x7 and 4x6). The bamboo is "real" and my frames very much match each other as if from the same bamboo stalks. I chose the darker frames and am happy the way they set off the photos I placed inside.
