These frames are advertised as GLASS. To avoid issues, I even contacted customer service to double check they were GLASS. I was assured of this, ordered them, and they are indeed PLASTIC. Until we connected Wayfair as a supplier of frames, we'd had three water colors bought in 1974 that we weren't sure of how to frame. The ability to narrow the search parameters (white, 18x24, etc.) zeroed us in to convert our subjective "wants" to actual product selections that were easy to analyze. Not to mention, the set of 4 frames was near-perfect to our need. The attachment mechanism (cardboard with swivel clips that trap the art inside the frame) limits what you can put in; our pictures are premounted on their own wood frames so we now have to devise a way to fix the paintings into the frames. However, we are relived that the frames exactly also measure 18x24. The paint on the frames allows the grain-lines to show, which to us is nice. Also to be aware of: the frames' "glass" is blue plastic with the manufacturing date printed on it. So you probably won't want to use it. Buy (very thin) glass or plexiglass for your print/painting.. These reviews must either be generated by bots, or I'm an extremely unlucky customer. I didn't even receive the frames shown in the photo description of this product. What I received were two extremely flimsy frames that at best, are worth about $20 each. The items look nothing like the photo on the Wayfair site. I have been trying to get this resolved through the company but no luck so far. This will be my last Wayfair purchase even if they do make it right because I think buying something sight unseen and trusting that you will get what was advertised is wishful thinking. I'd like to see it and touch it before I purchase it. I'm returning to the old way of shopping because this experience has made me feel unappreciated and lied to. **Update 11/26: I received an email from Wayfair where they are basically gaslighting me and saying that I did receive the correct item. Look at the photo again and look at the style differences between the two frames. These are NOT the same.
