Your gallery-wrapped canvas comes mounted to a 2-inch-thick, elegant hardwood frame. The art is inset, leaving a 3/8" space between the art and frame, creating a "floating" illusion. Giclee´ (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that Giclee´ printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee´ by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished artwork.

Thought it would be a little more detailed but nice over all. Good quality and price.. Anonymous. Rochester, NY. Tue Nov 17 2020

This is really cool - even better than I imagined. The contrast of white on black makes it very easy to read the city names. I put this in my guest room for the travelers that visit, and it would be fun for people to pick out places they have been or want to go. Obviously not every city can be on the map, but the major ones are on there and it shapes the countries really well. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a thing to hang on the wall that people can really look at and enjoy!. Sharon. Cookeville, TN. Sun Dec 22 2019
