This clear opening allows you to check the water level at any time. And when the plant needs water, it draws from the reservoir through natural capillary action. In addition, the water reservoir helps to regulate moisture content and prevents the roots from rotting in stagnant water. Extremely functional and efficient. Like all Ecopots, they are made from high-quality, certified recycled materials and have a distinctive, handmade finish. All Ecopots are made from a unique formula containing 80% high quality, first-use, recycled plastics of which 50 percent PP and 50 percent PE, and 20 percent recycled natural minerals to improve durability, UV resistance, and insulation
