Taino Figurines | Anacaona

“I was born on this jewel received by God, a land where Love and Harmony reigned, then one day intruders from far away invaded it, stoned it and dethroned me. Centuries have passed and my kingdom remains in the shadows despite its bright sun, under crushed dreams, violated and divided soils, my spirit remains intact and deep, it speaks of Love, Peace, and Harmony. I'm not gone, I'm just invisible” Anacaona, Sovereign Queen, cacica of Xaragua This collection is inspired by Taino sculptures, the first people of Hispagniola Island
