These Decorative Boxes are skillfully handmade and delicately painted. The tradition of making lacquerware has been handed down through generations with villages being dedicated to the craft. It takes time to apply numerous layers of lacquer to the handmade the container. The lacquer had to be dried carefully. The outer colors show the craftsmanship involved.
