" Water Lilies, 1915 " by Claude Monet

With softer edges and haloed light, this painting by French Impressionist Claude Monet brilliantly translates the flux of light on flower and water in a most remarkable way. Though his eyesight was failing during the last decades of his life, Monet continued to paint, remarking that he was not interested in painting nature in a descriptive manner, but rather, to be true to his sensation of nature. The authentic stretched canvas replica painting captures the original work's texture, depth of color, and even its subtle brushstrokes, which are applied by hand. The replica 4.375" wide, European style, bright gold-toned, ribbed frame is cast in quality designer resin with an acanthus leaf and floret border that draws the eye toward the beautiful image. Proudly printed and framed in the USA using imported molding.
