This unique design is hand-crafted from Eco-friendly soapstone by Evans Nyanchoka in Kenya. Starting with Kisii stone, a collection of hand crafted art by creating a zero carbon footprint. Every stage in the making of this beautiful collection involved human hands. From quarrying - bringing to the surface - cutting to art size pieces - shaping - polishing, etc. The only element of carbon footprint is transportation from the Artisan to you. Artisans use natural dyes and hand-applied finishes for a one-of-a-kind art piece. The carver cuts to size, shapes, and defines the stone using only basic hand tools. Cherish this one of a kind piece. The handcrafted touch of artisan skill creates variations in color, size, and design. If buying two of the same item, slight differences should be expected.
