Red Barrel Studio® Handmade Polar Treasure Dried Mate Gourd Decorative Box

A scene of tenderness in the middle of a polar landscape decorates this sublime piece from the Andes region. Daniel Vargas keeps a tradition alive in this decorative box, hand-carved from a dried mate gourd and equipped with a quinual wood . A classic wood-burning process allows the artisan to crown the box with a penguin family portrait—all united in a warm embrace.
