This charming, characterful design features delicate meadow flowers including bluebells, campanula, pink flowers and celandine, intricately arranged amongst a trellis of intertwining vines. Celandine was designed by William Morris's chief designer, John Henry Dearle around 1896 and is reminiscent of one of William Morris’s earliest wallpaper designs, ‘Daisy’, with its soft yet intricate detailing and graceful composition, embodying the timeless beauty of nature.
In this Peony & Sage colourway, the pattern takes on a fresh, uplifting mood. Soft sage greens form the scrolling botanicals, while touches of muted golden ochre and dusty pink bring the floral details to life, while the warm off-white background lends the design a light, airy feel – making it perfect for brightening bedrooms, Mid-Century Modern sitting rooms or hallways with understated elegance. Printed on high-quality non-woven wallpaper, Celandine Spring Peony & Sage is simple to hang, with a sophisticated finish.
