Coastal Retreat Beach Waves Abstract by cartissi

“Coastal Layers” by cartissi evokes the serenity of open water and shifting horizons through soft, translucent washes of aqua, indigo, sand, and umber. The composition unfolds horizontally like a meditative landscape — where color becomes movement and transparency becomes breath. Inspired by international residencies across Italy and Southeast Asia, the work merges fluid watercolor technique with atmospheric abstraction. The result is an elegant dialogue between nature, place, and emotion — calm, contemporary, and deeply poetic.
