" Devalaya " by Gregory Gove

For his modern-minimalist works, Austin, Texas-based artist Greg Gove opts for flat-edge blades - like drywall mudding knives - instead of traditional paint brushes, for a clean yet textural look rooted in geometry. He finds inspiration in everything from signage and letterforms to holy sites, like temples and cathedrals.
