Miriam and Debora Geometric Cotton Pillow Cover

Inspired by the traditional dress of women from the city of Tactic, the Guatemalan duo Miriam and Debora design this pillow cover with a traditional aesthetic. Local artisans work on traditional declares de cintura, or backstrap looms, to hand-weave the pillow cover of cotton. It features intricate geometric motifs in eggshell and white, completed around the edges with hand-knotted tassels. At the back, the cover opens with a slit for inserting a pillow.
