Puno welcomes people with a glorious landscape of classic roofs where little pairs of bulls rest gracefully. Known as the Toritos de Pucara, these ceramic sculptures are an icon of the Andean culture, symbolizing the duality of its worldview as each figure represents the harmony between evil and celestial forces. This little torito in particular, wears a floral and leafy design in turquoise hues, made by the talented Peruvian artisan Elva Flores as a sign of wisdom and protection.
