Step into a living room built around the Valencia Stately chair, where top grain leather in a rich, natural finish becomes the centerpiece of every gathering. It's the seat everyone reaches for first, and the one that still feels special a decade from now.
What makes this leather special?
Every inch of this chair is finished in 100% top grain leather, with no splits or bonded material anywhere on the piece. A semi-aniline finish gives it a soft, natural hand and a light wax layer that enhances the leather's character the longer you own it. We select only premium-grade leather cuts, so the texture stays even and refined across the whole piece.
How is this piece constructed?
This chair is made to order, meaning your leather isn't cut until you've placed the order, then it's handmade in Mexico by artisans who know the craft. The solid wood frame is hand-built for durability, and expert joinery combined with a webbing support system keeps the whole piece structurally sound for years.
What makes the cushions comfortable and supportive?
Softness up top, support underneath: the back cushions use a foam and feather blend, while the seat cushions combine pocket coils, foam, and feather for durable comfort. A sinuous coil system beneath the seat cushions adds resilience, keeping this chair from ever feeling worn-out or flat.
How should I care for it, and how will it age?
Maintenance is refreshingly low-key: a soft, dry cloth and occasional dusting keep this chair in great shape. The leather isn't meant to stay pristine and untouched, it's meant to develop a rich patina over time, becoming more distinctive the longer you own it. Combined with its construction, this is a piece meant to last for years, not seasons.
