This crystal glass figure, titled “Little Saint,” is an artwork of the monkey zodiac in Chinese astrology. Noted most for its mischief and intelligence, the monkey is one of the most adored creatures in Chinese mythology—as in the case of “the monkey king.” Wily, mischievous, and incredibly clever, the monkey is adaptable and uses a brilliant sense of humor to keep its spirits up in any circumstance. Adorable and almost comical, the zodiac art piece is adorned with traditional Chinese paper-cutting artwork patterns. Each art piece is uniquely handcrafted, varying most with color and playing with light on any tabletop. Well suited for birthday occasions or simply celebrating someone’s birth year, the message the zodiac artwork sends is as sincere and as transparent as the glasswork itself.
