" Sphynx " by Alex Zeng

The unmistakable form of the Sphynx cat is captured wonderfully in this piece, which gives this often misunderstood breed a friendly appearance. The huge ears are iconic of this cat and the collage manages to describe the shape perfectly. Flowers in the foreground seem to adorn the cat and an aspect of Ancient Egyptian worship is seen in the figure of Bastet at the bottom right. Several details conspire in this piece to create a characterful and interesting homage.
