" Chihuahua Closeup " by Alex Zeng

This collage succeeds in expressing, through the strange arrangement of mismatched shapes and colors, the quirky and almost comedic face of the Chihuahua. Huge ears sit atop a small skull, with wide eyes and a slim neck. Just as the breed manages to turn mismatched features into cuteness, the collage merges strange collections of pictures into a beautiful whole. The pink bow tie tells us all we need to know about the character of this cheeky dog. The eyes could almost be mechanical and they gain expression as we search them for details of the layers used.
