This charming image of a Basset Hound defies this idea and demonstrates wonderfully just now much expression can be extracted from the right shapes and lines. From the droopy cheeks to upturned, loyal eyes, there’s no mistaking this dog’s earnest loyalty. The presence of a human hand in the clipping used for the ears seems to reflect the dog’s master.
