Bring a sense of horological heritage to your home with the Palmer Mantel Clock, a masterclass in specialty furniture design. This striking wooden timepiece is masterfully crafted from select hardwoods and veneers, featuring a classic tambour silhouette that is rich in ornamental detail. The front panel is accented by camphor burl veneers and intricately carved side scrolls, while elegant beaded molding surrounds the base to create a majestic profile that commands attention in any traditional setting.
The design celebrates refined clarity, showcasing a soft lambswool dial protected by a premium convex glass crystal. The display features bold black Arabic numerals and elegant serpentine hands for a timeless, vintage-inspired look. Unlike standard battery-operated pieces, the Palmer features a high-precision, German-made key-wound movement that plays melodic Westminster chimes on the quarter-hour, half-hour, and three-quarter-hour marks, followed by a full chime and strike on the hour. An industry-exclusive dual-ratchet winding arbor ensures safe and smooth winding, while durable bronze bushings guarantee long-lasting performance. For complete control over your home environment, a chime silence option is included, allowing you to enjoy the silent beauty of the clock whenever desired.
