A representation of cosmic creation and power. The Sanskrit name “Shree Yantra” translates as wealth (Shree) and instrument (Yantra). An instrument that helps its worshippers fulfill both material and spiritual worldly desires or wishes. This object depicts the evolution of the universe and its sacred geometry clears all negativity and obstacles. A non-denominational object or worship and meditation, the Shree Yantra can be used by all religions to garner the blessing and benefits it provides. This object consists of nine interlocking triangles that surround a central point ( Bindu). The nine triangles represent the cosmos and the human body. Those that point upward represent the masculine principle, those downward represent the feminine principle. The eight-petal lotus petals surrounding the triangles each govern a specific activity: speech, grasping, motion, excretion, enjoyment, revulsion, attraction, and equanimity. The sixteen-lotus ring represents the ten organs of perception and action, the five elements, and the mind. The three circles represent past, present, and future. The outer square represents the earth element and mundane emotion. The T-shaped structures on the square are considered gates of the four directions and the entry points of the Yantra. This piece is made of solid wood and on a CNC machine. Paint distressing patterns may vary because they are done by hand.
