Selenite - Naica Mine, Mexico

A stunning crystal from a legendary location. This Selenite from the Naica Mine, home of the giant Selenite crystal "Cave of Swords", featuring crystals up to 37 feet in length! While this may not be of that scale it is much more likely to fit in your home. Exceptional clarity through the nicely striated crystal faces, a slight aspect of "ram's head" curvature, and a nice lenticular view of the host matrix put this specimen over the top. Naica Mine, Naica, Saucillo Municipality, Chihuahua, Mexico. 3.5" x 1.75" x 4.75", 9.4 oz.
