She sits here in a cross-legged posture, adorned in graceful silk sari having a heavy carved border and finely settled pleats along with a heavy border blouse. Although this sculpture is carved in its regular iconography, but what attracts most are the lavish necklaces of varied sizes and each having a large floral pendant along with a similar kamarband and long jhumkas. She is glorified with a haloed crown decorated with précised designs and a temple like top.Her palms are tattooed with a sacred symbol and the anterior hands are positioned in abhaya and varada mudra respectively. The four rear hands carry her iconic symbols of identification namely, two lotuses each, carved kalash and a sea snail symbolizing a conch shell or shankha. Her facial expressions reflect her splendor, radiance and abundance that flows from the divine.
