Designed and sculpted in England by Matt Buckley at his studios in Shropshire, Edge Sculpture is a collection influenced by style rather than subject. The Mandrill is a large and colorful primate found in the rainforests of central Africa. It is easily recognized by bright blue and red facial markings and a vibrant rump, which become even more intense in dominant males. Mandrills live in large social groups and are highly intelligent, communicating with a range of vocalizations and facial expressions. They are omnivores, eating fruits, roots, insects, and small animals, and they spend much of their time on the ground despite being able to climb trees.
