Designed and sculpted in England by Matt Buckley at his studios in Shropshire, Edge Sculpture is a collection influenced by style rather than subject. The mix of form, light and texture gives a unique feel to each stunning sculpture. His designs present a most striking collection of contemporary sculpture that is both emotionally evocative and fiercely modern. Tutankhamun, often called King Tut, was a young pharaoh who ruled ancient Egypt during the 18th dynasty, around 1332-1323 BCE. He became king at about nine years old and is thought to have restored traditional Egyptian religious practices after a period of major changes under his predecessor. Although his reign was relatively short and not especially remarkable politically, he became famous after his tomb was discovered nearly intact in 1922. The discovery revealed incredible treasures, including his iconic golden mask, making him one of the most well-known figures of ancient Egypt today.
