I ordered 6 of these blinds, 5 in one width and 1 in another. They arrived in 4 shipments, a few days apart. Blinds are as described, and as many reviewers noted, the hand rolling /velcro attachment straps are minorly annoying. They shed a good bit when unrolling initially, so be prepared for some clean up. As an avid DIYer, I know the difference between good and bad products. This motorized blind is high quality. Unfortunately, our primary reason for purchasing this was for privacy in the evening, as our deck opens up to community courts and gathering space. As it’s getting dark in the evening, and the lights are on in our kitchenfamily room, you can see everything in our home almost as clearly as if the shade were not in place. Also, my home is fully automated with Alexa control. I have two universal RF hubs (Bond Bridge Pro and Toyanc IRRF transmitter) for home automation, and for some reason, both accepted the programming frequency of the remote (433.92 MHz), but neither would transmit the right codes. Not bad! Looks just like the photo in the description. Measured 100 times before I ordered. There is more of a gap towards the bottom right than top. At the top, both sides start at about 34” gap. At the bottom, the right gap ends up being about 1 ¼” and the left about ½”. Mounting was easy as I had slatted blinds, so I just popped those off and replaced the brackets for the new ones - a quick Google search and YouTube video helped. Took about 30 minutes by myself.. These faux wood blinds are beautiful, and they fit perfectly in my window. They look very clean, and beautiful. Privacy is perfect. Hardware was easy to install. Light blocking is very good to keep out the sun rays without making it too dark in the room. Very easy to open and close. This is my second set and I love them. Works great and looks nice. Good value for the price. Easy to install. I definitely recommend them. They give you a variety of sizes to choose from, depending on the width of your window, whether you are installing inside mount, outside mount, or even ceiling mount.
