Over the Summit

Over the Summit is a wide, layered view of a mountain range just catching the last light of the day. The scene is built from short, deliberate strokes—patches of snow, shadow, and foliage all rendered in textured dashes. The mountains rise out of a field of dense greenery, dotted with warm yellows and hints of pink. Above them, the sky shifts from soft purple to cool turquoise, with brushwork that feels almost like falling leaves. Up close, the painting is all detail and texture. From a distance, it pulls together into a striking landscape that feels both grounded and dreamlike.
