Two rocking horse sculptures are hand-carved from wood, with pandan leaf fibers forming the manes and tails. By Indonesian artisan Togog Suyasa, these sculptures feature wooden runners on the bottom that allow them to rock back and forth. The horses are based on Nila Ambara, an intelligent and powerful horse that accompanied the strongest knight of the ancient Majapahit Kingdom. Because of Nila Ambara, Indonesian people associate horses with strength and independence.
