Holler Handmade Figurine / Sculpture Decorative Object

Using local tools, this Ghanaian artisan skillfully hand carves this sleek wood giraffe sculpture. The figure is captured tilting its head back as if about to pluck some leaves or a piece of fruit from a tall tree. The rustic dark brown painted finish creates the impression of a silhouette as if the animal was seen eating after the sun has begun to set. The sculpture stands steady on a wood base for easy display.
