Botryoidal Mimetite with Aragonite - Bilbao Mine, Mexico

An exceptional cabinet sized old-mine Mimetite with aspects coated in white Aragonite, some sparkling Mimetite exposed, from the Bilbao Mine. Complex and compelling with deep internal spaces. A nice history is presented via three vintage tags, including the note that it was "personally collected from an ore cart in 1955". Sits with confidence, presentable from multiple angles. Bilbao Mine, La Blanca, Ojocaliente Municipality, Zacatecas, Mexico. 4.25" x 4.25" x 5", 3.46 lbs.
