Azurite with Bayldonite and Malachite - Tsumeb Mine, Namibia

A few eyes of Malachite peer back from this fascinating, large (1.75") crystal of Azurite which also plays host to scattered Bayldonite creating two shades of green over blue. The Azurite itself has an interesting stepped-parallel growth to it that provides opportunities for secondary mineralizations to take hold. Tsumeb Mine, Otjikoto, Namibia. 1.75" x 1.25" x .7", .9 oz.
