Adrika Figurine / Sculpture Decorative Object

Catrina is the undisputed queen of Day of the Dead; however, her popularity has grown so much that she makes appearances year-round in Mexican culture. This cheerful Catrina is made from a hard papier mache called cartoon era, which has also expanded from making party favors to works of folk art in this same country. Marina Lozano creates the skeletal lady in a dress meant to evoke the colors of spring.
