Currey & Company Sylva Vase Small

About This Product

Few vases combine machine precision with handwork this openly. The Sylva Vase starts as a 3D-printed porcelain log, its grooves angled so the eye travels around the form instead of stopping, and small blossoms are then attached one at a time so they seem to have pushed out through the surface. It holds water directly, which suits cut stems as readily as dried ones. Set it where the detail gets close attention: a hallway ledge, a bedroom dresser, or the center of a dining table.

Features

3D-printed porcelain gives the log form crisp, even furrows that would be difficult to achieve by throwing alone.
Each blossom is formed and attached by hand, so the flowers stand off the body in real relief instead of being printed into it.
Watertight construction means cut stems go straight in, with no liner and no worry about moisture reaching the furniture below.
Because the flowers are placed by hand, the arrangement differs on every piece, so yours is not a duplicate of the next one.
Porcelain and a contemporary form let it read as sculpture between arrangements, earning its spot on a console year-round.
