Phoenician Pillar with Capital

Empty floor space beside a doorway or behind a chair is exactly what the Phoenician Pillar with Capital was made to solve. Shaped as a classical column complete with its capital, it reads as an architectural fragment rescued from a ruin rather than a decorative object bought for the corner. The composite body is finished by hand to a surface that looks quarried, and it stays light enough to shift as a room changes. Stand it alone where the eye can read the whole shaft, or use it to close off the end of a run of low furniture.
