About This Product

Inspired by bamboo, the Knepp Hexagonal Box set carves dyed bone into segmented stalk forms and wraps them around six-sided cases. Open either box and the interior is lined in linen, ready for keys by the door, paper clips at a desk, or earrings on a dresser. Six sides give the pair a faceted profile that catches light on one plane and shades the next. The bamboo reference is clear without being literal, which is what lets the pair sit with plain modern furniture as easily as with older pieces.

Features

Two boxes come together, so you can group them for a stepped arrangement or split them between a desk and a dresser.
Dyed bone carved into a bamboo form gives the sides a segmented, organic texture that flat-sided boxes lack.
A six-sided shape breaks up the run of squares and rectangles already sitting on a coffee table or shelf.
Lids lift fully off, so you can reach in with one hand instead of working around a hinge.
Linen-lined interiors protect rings, cufflinks, and small keepsakes from scratching against a hard surface.
