Thea Marble Bust Sculpture

Features

• Hand-carved from Italian marble over days of work, the figure has a depth of modeling that molded reproductions cannot match.
• The draped element flowing along the torso creates a continuous line that keeps the eye moving around the whole piece.
• Large scale and real stone weight let the sculpture anchor a console or entry hall without any supporting objects.
• A classical figurative subject settles easily into a traditional room while still holding its own against modern furniture and bare walls.
• The smooth planes and the deep folds of the drape hold light differently, so the piece changes as daylight moves across the room.
