Handmade Paper Decorative Box

Fida Hussein, son of a papier mache artisan, works to continue that artistic legacy. He crafts this small heart-shaped box from weeping willow wood covered with papier mache. It is then sanded and painted carefully in exquisite detail with pale grey, black and gold features floral motif. It opens to reveal a velvet lining.
