Lord Ganesha, the most loved god, is adored through this Urli, which features his holy image inside a Hoysala art-influenced aureole. The Urli is created by experienced artisans from high-quality brass. The use of stunning peacock and vine designs on the body and stands of the urli contributes to the design's auspiciousness. The main body of the Urli is traditional in design, with a shallow vessel. These Urlis have outlived their intended purpose and are now used mainly for ornamentation. Coiled vines, typical of Hoysala art, are connected to the front of the urli. A group of peacocks and elephants pay homage to Lord Ganesha's picture.
