• Hindueligion is a massive expanse spanning countless sects, traditions, andultures. While some are just nice and elegant, some go beyond the societal norms to realise their spiritual quest. Tantra is one such sect where things even unacceptable to society are practised to reach the ultimate. Unlike the traditional deities, Tantra deities are very fierce and may even incite fear in the hearts of those who are not ready. That's why it is said that Tantra is only for the fearless.evi Kali, is the supreme manifestation of Shakti (energy) who is also revered as the supreme being in theantraect. Although not just limited to Tantra, she is also worshipped by the people belonging to devotional sects. In her essence, Kali is the divine protector of her devotees, protecting them from the forces of evil, and bestows her grace upon those who open their hearts to her.
• Thisrass statueepicts kali in her fierce form with the traces of Tantra clearly visible in her appearance. With her left leg placed on the chest oford Shiva, she looks fearless and vibrant with the energy she possesses. Holding various weapons in her hand, she has declared an open war against the forces of evil. She is also holding a human skull in her hand, symbolising her as the demolisher of ego, the biggest step towards liberation. The garland of skulls which she is wearing adds to her fearsome look. Though she is clad in bare clothes and minimumewellery, her crown is glowing with its grandeur and immensity, sporting a brilliant work of delicate carvings. Her face emanates great resilience and a love for the seekers of truth. Instead of being fierce in her appearance, Kali is one of the most benevolent deities always ensuring the wellbeing of her devotees. This statue stands as the material manifestation of the divine essence of Devi Kali. Being a brilliant piece of art in itself, the truthful portrayal of Kali further adds to the beauty and authenticity of the statue
