The sculpture is mounted on a solid square of clear glass for balance and stability. Rossa is handcrafted entirely using Favrile Art Glass which was first developed by L.C. Tiffany more than a century ago. The Favrile process embeds the color within the glass, which can cause subtle variations in color, pattern, and size. This means that no 2 pieces are exactly alike.
