Besik Landscape & Nature Statuette

Designed by Ira S. in Java, this lovely statuette depicts the king eider, a large sea duck found throughout the Arctic. The artisan uses local suar wood to craft the sculpture, diligently carving its features by hand. Painted with fine, feathery details, the duck looks real enough to fly.
