We had some difficulty assembling (really hard to get the seat pieces to connect together properly) and the alignment on some of the pieces does not line up. As a taller woman (5'11"), I really appreciate the generous width and depth of the seat. It feels roomy without being oversized. The backrest could be a couple of inches taller for added comfort, especially if you like to lean back while reading. I also ordered a matching ottoman because I found myself wanting to put my feet up, and I think that will make it even more comfortable. The chair is firm but not stiff, so it provides good support.
