These panels are super cool looking and customizable to all manner of aesthetics. We will be buying and adding more to the wall, but this is a great start. Originally, I did not like these faux stones. It was my first time seeing faux stones and I thought they look looked like styrofoam. The lighter gray stones is just white painted on lines, which it cheapened the look, BUT then I compared them to Genstone Faux stones and realized that the texture on these are much, much better, much more realistic. Genstones texture is smooth and very non-realistic looking (in my opinion). The texture here is way more realistic, so I decided to keep these and send the Genstones back. Since I still disliked the lighter gray stones, with the painted lines, so I decided to put painters tape around them and paint them another color that I did like. There were only 4 lighter ones on each panel so it wasnt a hard job. I absolutely love them now. I havent put them on my house yet, but I put them up against my fence and they looked so good.. Very impressed! These shiplap panels are great quality, real wood. Super easy to install, but I will caution, make sure it’s where you want it because the adhesive strips are no joke. I was thinking I maybe needed to reinforce with nails, but when I ripped the coating off the Sheetrock, I figured it was fine. lol they look amazing and I like that they are thinner than traditional shiplap.
