This .25 inch thick rug pad is actually great with the rug I chose to top it off. It has a rubberized backing and was packaged folded up with a plastic covering. Even though it arrived folded, it laid out perfectly flat on my floor with no creases or kinks. I know it will ensure a longer life to my new rug.
