The bulbs are very nice—they give off an amber glow and the slightly larger globe size is just what I needed and very difficult to find. I was glad they were Bulbrite, because this brand is long lasting and very high quality. Sometimes the glass on these antique bulbs is tinted very amber. These are tinted, but it’s quite subdued and you don’t see the tinting much when they are turned off. They are great for creating a cozy, warm mood. Install them in lamps on dimmers, turn them low, and they'll make your room glow orange like you have a fireplace. Note that 135 lumens is not very bright—somehow they looked less bright than other bulbs with the same lumens. My one issue was the shipping experience—they were shipped with the 4 bulbs wrapped with packing tape and an address label slapped on the side. While this shipping method might work for LED bulbs, these are thin, fragile glass. Of course, all 4 bulbs arrived destroyed. Four stars – an average of 5 for the bulbs and 3 for the seller (who eventually made it right).. Susannah. San Francisco, CA. Sun Sep 20 2026
