I replaced my 15 year old Electrolux set and this one is just as wonderful as my last one. Do not buy these without the pedestals because it is way too low to the ground if you don't. They continue to make outstanding appliances and no my other one didn't go out. I sell my appliances way before they go bad and upgrade every 15yrs or so. It definitely works but the door is delicate. You have to triple check it is fully sealed every time you close it because it doesn’t alert you if it’s not closed or the Temperature is climbing. You have to delicately close the door because any force will cause it to bounce back open. It does come with a lock but it’s at the bottom of the refrigerator and its a pain squat down every time to lock.. a family who regularly uses it will not be locking it every single time.
