This is great - I havent used it much yet but it was fairly straight forward to build. It took my by myself about 2.5 hours. The last step was the most difficult and would have been better with a second person. I’m using it as a work area in my home office. The height and size is perfect to work at while standing. One mistake I made which was pretty dumb on my part was I built it in one part of my house and it was going to be used in another room.... well, it is too big to go through the doorway. I had to carefully take off a few pieces without damaging it to slide it through the doorway. Just be aware of that - it is too wide and the depth is too wide to fit through a normal house doorway.. Kitchen Island with Storage: Spacious countertop for easy meal prep; bottom two-tier open shelves keep cookware, utensils and daily essentials handy.

It’s a very nice kitchen island, especially considering that it’s made of plywood. I will say that it sits a little higher than my countertops than I expected, even though I measured beforehand. I believe the extra height may be intentional to accommodate stool seating. Overall, though, I’m very happy with it! I’m currently upgrading my kitchen and redoing my cabinets, so I needed to find ways to cut costs without sacrificing the look I wanted. This island was a great solution.
