It features a durable corrosion-resistant polycarbonate shield to ensure a wet-location rating. It’s constructed using a new injection-molded abs thermoplastic housing that’s flammability (ul-94-v-0) rated. The ecl5 includes a nickel metal hydride battery to provide 90-minute emergency run-time that kicks on if the power goes out. The ecl5 uses less than 3.8 watts of electricity and can be installed in both 120-volt and 277-volt applications. The low-profile design keeps the fixture lightweight and easy to install.
