Beautiful sink- clean and simple lines. There is a change in the brush pattern at the very bottom of the sink when compared to the sides but it doesn’t look odd. For the single hole sink there is just a flat surface to put the faucet (exactly what I wanted)- not a raised area that is present in the sink with more holes and many of the pictures.. Anonymous. I had ordered the se sink from our local plumbing company and after 6 weeks it still wasn't in (and they couldn't tell me when it would arrive) plus it was $65 more expensive. I love my farmhouse sink!! It’s has transformed my kitchen and it is so big and heavy duty. Perfect for big pots and pans. Really beautiful with the vintage oil rubbed bronze faucet that I also bought on Wayfair. The installation wasn’t easy though. I tried to have it installed through Wayfair and they use Angi. My appointment was cancelled twice and I finally got my nephew to install it. However I got my money back promptly that I had paid for having it installed. Drains well, easy clean, big pots&pans. However the grid that we purchased with the sink is scratching the sink. The scratches in the sink bottom is where the small posts on the grid are in contact with the sink. I would greatly appreciate a replacement for this inconvenience. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed this sink as part of our full kitchen remodel. It's been a couple of months now, and here are my opinions. Pros: It's a very well made sink. The sound deadening is excellent. Not much noise from dishes moving in the sink. It keeps water hot for quite a long time. It's deep, holds lots of dishes. The stainless sink grates are great. It looks nice. The Cons: It's deep. you'll find yourself bending over a bit to do dishes. When rinsing items off you must hold them down into the sink, or it splashes onto the countertop. The sink does not fully drain. I've been chasing food particles around and down the drain with our faucet everyday. I rechecked the leveling of the sink, and it's spot on. Maybe if it was installed with a small tilt towards the drain it may be better. Summary: The longer I use the sink the more I like it. Delivery was amazing! This sink is heavy, real cast iron. Online it says 175lbs. I was nervous about whether it would ship ok. So happy to report that it did and was handled with care. My faucet is leaking out the top. It's flooding my counter and running down wall. I have read about the same problem other people are having with the product. Either poorly designed or specially manufactured for the home products depot where I purchased. Customer service from American Standard is very good; they sent out replacement parts even without my proof of purchase. However, the replacement parts did not fix problem or are defective as well. I'm waiting for new parts and perhaps a new faucet. American Standard appears to stand behind product and their customer service is commendable but I'm not sure I have faith in them any more.. Al.
